Resources developed within the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology

The following resources for the study of the southern New England insect fauna have been developed, entirely or in part, by research within the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology.

+ Tiger Beetles of Connecticut: Conservation status, taxonomy, identification keys, and natural history of the 14 species of Cicindela known from Connecticut. Includes queriable database of specimens examined which may be selected by museum-- Specimen data for all CT tiger beetle specimens held in the University of Connecticut Insect Collection are available. + Coleoptera of Rhode Island: An on-line database to the 2,200 species of beetles expected or documented from the state of Rhode Island, including over 240 new state records, by Derek Sikes.

+ Connecticut Butterfly Atlas Project: A queriable database of locality data for Connecticut's butterfly species with information on the volunteer-based Atlas Project (served at Yale- off site link).

+ CT Odonata Flight Data County, month and other flight data for all species of Odonata from CT, by David Wagner.
