It is important to note that
the diagnoses for these species were written for populations from
Connecticut. As many of these species occur throughout North America
these diagnoses may be misleading if you are trying to identify non
Connecticut specimens.
Even Massachusetts and Rhode Island have species that do not occur in Connecticut and so it is your responsibility to obtain the necessary literature.
